Now, if we could just get this as a trailer in movie houses around the country...
It's astounding to see it so close to complete. Looks incredible - shockingly beautiful and hard to comprehend that it's the real thing and not another CGI rendition of what it will look like. It's a shame that the dream of the late 1980's through the early 2000's is now here and now the agency is so keen to run away from it (that's unfair - the direction from the executive is such that now that it is here, with limited resources, NASA has to choose between using it and getting a system in place to get beyond low Earth orbit). A geek comment wouldn't be complete without a Yoda faux-wisdom quote "Never your mind on where you are, what you are doing. Always to the future you look." May often be a good thing, but when one spends no thought on what one has resulting from prior dreams and work for the future, then further dreaming of the future takes on the vacuous air of ADD.
