"NASA is placing RFI NNH09ZDA010L ("Feasibility of using Constellation Architecture for Servicing Existing and Future Observatory-Class Scientific Spacecraft") on hold. The August 10 due date for information in the form of a white paper is cancelled; no new due date is announced at this time. The "Workshop I" described in NNH09ZDA010L will not occur in June; a new date has not been established at this time."
And yet another Orion capability is traded away/deleted because the current set-up stinks?
I sense a pattern here. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Did the June 27 workshop occur?
Sadly, this sounds like the death-knell of what should have been one of the most persuasive arguments for man in space: hitting recalcitrant unmanned vehicles with rubber hammers until they behave themselves. Imagine if the JWST sunshade does a Galileo hi-gain antenna on us...
