Not to demean Robert or Steve, but what's really needed at MSFC is a half rabid Rotweiller like Rocco Petrone. I suspect Griffith was put up to this as a last ditch attempt to avoid a thorough centerwide shakedown. Wonder how General Bolden see's things?

Uh. The Article references Parker Griffith asking the new NASA Administrator to appoint Robert Lightfoot (Acting Center Director) to be permanent seems pretty routine. What has this got to do with Steve Cook?

What you wrote doesn't seem to correlate with what the article says. Are you implying that unlike what the article says Parker Griffith is secretly asking that Steve Cook be made Center Director contrary to what the letter states. And this is bad because Steve Cook is unaware of the USAF abort analysis that you published? Or that Robert Lightfoot is actually the posse?

Overall it seems that this post belongs with the abort analysis piece you posted.
