Bigelow Aerospace Position Opening: Astronaut
"Bigelow Aerospace seeks professional astronauts to fill permanent positions. Qualified applicants need to have completed a training program from their government or recognized space agency and have at least some flight experience on a recognized space mission. Specialized training and/or experience (ie: Medical, Payload Specialist, EVA, Pilot, etc.) is not a pre-requisite, but is definitely a plus."

Are there any space missions which are unrecognized? Does Bigelow Aerospace know something that we don't?!
I have always heard positive comments about Bigelow. For them to take this next big step, all I can say is: KEEP GOING AND GOOD LUCK.!!
They have also said that it is important for astronauts to be in control of the vehicle in case of problems.

Well, sorry, Chuck, then you haven't talked to MANY who worked (for a while) for him! Not only does he not have a clue---but his management style is, let's just say, "Goldin-like"!!!!
Of course, some ex-astronauts might fit in just swell with that!
I pity even them, though!

Professional Astronaut, I like the sound of that
