Garver Online - Today
Maybe this link will work.
Earlier from the Top:
Lori Garver tells kids to become Citizen Scientists and pushes Global Climate Change website asking them to become Climate Kids, "helping us all to become better stewards of our fragile planet." And she wants their questions on how NASA can inspire kids and citizens of the World.
"she wants their questions on how NASA can inspire kids and citizens of the World."
How is planning return to the moon for five years.. five years, and then cancelling those congressionall approved of plans and efforts of thousands of dedicated NASA employees going to inspire anyone? How do you possibly replace that with global warming or anything else for that matter as inspiration?
Do you still encourage children to become astronauts? or is climatologist now the preferred and equal inspirational career?
Nice to see an increase in public engagement. Shame about the quality of feed though.
The battle for hearts and minds amongst America's newest generation is more stark than Climatologist vs Astronaut. It is between god fearing, god believing; supernaturalist peasant and rationalising thinking citizen-scientist. That is the significant difference between the educational policies for your Right and Left. Creationism vs STEM. Your choice.
"Inherit the Wind."
However there are two things to note from Lori's speech feedback and outreach. Hopefully NASA will continue down that "Flexible Path!"
