Wow, they actually did a pretty good job getting the situation across to the average CNN viewer and still not dumbing down anything to the point of being inaccurate which is pretty difficult with everything NASA is involved in. Rachel Maddow seems to consistently do that well.
Mr. Oberg did hint that he thought this program was valuable research for NASA and then later said it was on the edge of what NASA is interested in. That's a good way to put it I guess, and not offend anyone too much so you're right there Fred.

This guy sure picked his words very carefully, I'm sure his lack of candor has to do with the fact he wants to continue working in the Aerospace industry and pissing off the administrator at NASA is not a good way to continue working in said field. He sounded like a politician. Let me just say whatever it is I can to piss the least amount of people off.
