NASA's Twitter feed hacked, MSNBC
"It was like a discount electronics attack from outer space. Earlier today, NASA's Twitter feed for astronauts currently in space (@NASA_Astronauts) briefly broke with the standard space jibber jabber, jammed on the cap locks, and subjected followers to an onslaught of messages about "BRAND NEW PLASMA FLAT SCREEN TV!!! WHOLESALE LIST!"
just joined twitter for the first time after seeing this. Doubt I'll ever post anything but it does seem like a cool way to follow certain VIPs, such as astronauts. So thanks to this slightly embarrassing article, they have a new follower in me. funny how that works.

Well, at least it was obvious spam.
You can imagine the creative options that could have given people a real jolt.
